Film Blocking

I had a mixed approach when it came to blocking. Using both Maya and Unreal 5 because for large environment I really prefer using the Unreal landscape and foliage tools in engine. The blocked out shots are currently separated as levels labelled in accordance to my shot list.

All scenes will have repeated assets and foliage instances like grass clumps and trees so I’m not worried about having so many environments as they will be set up, lit and have been designed in a specific way to make it all modular.

I currently don’t have scene 2 blocked because it will mostly be made up of 2D elements. Scene 5 just has a male and female base meshes for now and scene 6 has a basemesh wolf that I found online.
I played a little more with lighting for the end shot of the sailing for fun.

And different lighting for Scene 7.

I like the 3rd one the best but originally the scene was meant to be brighter so I dont't know.
